In this issue of NEGEF NEWS, we are proud to announce that a very informative article about NEGEF appeared in the March 9, 2000 edition of The Chronicle of Philanthropy. This nationally recognized and distributed bi-weekly newspaper is devoted solely to the management, fundraising, dispersion, and workings of non-profit organizations.

The recent article, "Recognizing that Small Is Beautiful," explains the history of NEGEF, its funding sources, and the positive effects that it has had in regards to empowering local activists in New England. In addition, the article briefly discusses some of the community campaigns that have received support from us.
